Crypto-influencers banned in rows on Twitter: PlanB and Willy Woo among them
Twitter has suspended a number of accounts of well-known crypto celebrities, including PlanB and Willy Woo.
According to a 10 March tweet from Bitcoin (BTC) podcaster Peter McCormack, at least six crypto-related Twitter accounts have recently been suspended from the platform.
These include some of the most prominent people in the crypto industry on Twitter with over 300,000 subscribers. Such as Bitcoin on-chain analyst Willy Woo and the creator of the BTC stock-to-flow model PlanB. Crypto advocate TheCryptoDog is also among them. Other accounts with ties to the BitQT industry have also been suspended. These include MMCrypto, TheMoon, Koroush AK and WSBChairman, who claims that the account is not connected to the Reddit community r/WallStreetBets.

As of press time, five of the accounts mentioned remained blocked
The accounts of Willy Woo and PlanB have been unblocked. PlanB’s account appears to have been fully restored, while Willy Woo has only about 600 followers.
Despite a brief suspension of PlanB, Twitter has not blocked imitators of the prominent crypto-influencer. Twitter user Ankeborgare explained that some fake PlanB accounts such as 100TrillionUSDT and 100TrillionUSDD had not been affected as part of the recent suspensions on Twitter.
On 8 March, Twitter support said the platform was seeing an „increase in cases“ involving mistaken account suspensions.
He reached out to Twitter for comment, but did not receive a response by press time.
